When you use Tropely, you may provide the following information:

To keep the app running smoothly and fix problems, we may collect limited technical information such as:

• Basic app usage data (e.g. which features are used)
• Crash and error reports
• Device type and app version

This data is collected in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.

We only use your information to make Tropely work well for you:

• To save and sync your library and reading data across devices
• To personalise mood and trope-based features
• To support buddy read features
• To improve app stability and fix bugs
• To keep your account secure
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising.

Tropely may include AI-powered features such as Story Oracle, an AI companion, or personalised recommendations. When you interact with these features, the input you submit (such as a book title, mood, or question) may be processed to generate a response.

Tropely's buddy read feature lets you read along with others. When you join or create a buddy read room, certain information may be visible to other participants in that room, including:

• Your display name and profile icon
• The shared book and your reading progress
• Any messages or comments posted in the room

Only people you invite (or who have your invite code) can join a buddy read room. Your private shelves, notes, and journal entries remain visible only to you.

We do not sell your personal information — ever.

We work with a small number of trusted service providers to run the app. They may process some of your data on our behalf:

These providers are only given access to what they need to do their job, and are not permitted to use your data for any other purpose.

You're in control of your data. You can update your profile, reading data, and preferences directly in the app at any time.

If you'd like to delete your account and all associated data, you can:

• Use the Delete Account option in app Settings
• Email us at hello.nevora@outlook.com and we'll handle it for you

Once deleted, your data is removed from our systems. Some anonymised, non-identifiable data (such as crash logs) may be retained for a short period for stability purposes.

Tropely is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If age is collected within the app, it is used only to help filter age-appropriate content (for example, to avoid showing adult book content to younger users). It is not shared or used for any other purpose.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello.nevora@outlook.com and we will delete it promptly.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information — including using secure infrastructure and encrypted connections. That said, no system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

If you ever notice anything suspicious with your account, please get in touch right away.

You're always in control of what you share in Tropely. You can:

• Update your display name, profile icon, and preferences in Settings
• Edit or delete books, journal entries, and reading data at any time
• Leave or decline buddy read rooms
• Delete your account entirely if you no longer want to use the app

As Tropely grows, this policy may be updated from time to time. When it changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to check back occasionally — but we'll always keep this page at the same URL and won't make changes that significantly reduce your rights without letting you know.
