✦ The person behind the apps

Hi, I'm the one
building Nevora.

A little corner of the internet to tell you who I am, why I'm making these apps, and what I actually care about.

My story

How this all started

Hi, I'm Kat. I'm not a developer. I don't have a computer science degree or a startup background. What I do have is a reading list that never shrinks, a soft spot for cozy games, a puzzle on the table at all times, a TV show always on in the background, and a strong preference for my own company.

"Nevora started because I kept running into the same problem: the apps I actually wanted didn't exist."

So, in true introvert fashion, instead of asking someone else to build them, I quietly decided to figure it out myself.

I'm learning as I go — and honestly, that's part of what makes this meaningful. Every feature in these apps is something I genuinely want to use. No roadmaps driven by investors, no features added for the sake of it. Just me, building slowly and carefully, trying to make something worth your time.

Why I build

What drives me

📚

I'm the target user

Every feature I build is something I genuinely want. I'm not guessing what readers need — I am one.

🌿

Slow is intentional

I'd rather take three months to get something right than ship a half-baked feature to meet an imaginary deadline.

Details matter deeply

I obsess over the small things — the copy, the spacing, the moment after you tap a button. It all adds up.

🤍

Built for real people

Not for app store charts, not for investors. For the person who just wants an app that gets them.

What I'm building

The apps

📚
Tropely
A book tracker built around moods, tropes, and the personal side of reading.
🏡
Palia Central
A cozy companion for Palia — track plushies, villager wants, and everything in between.
